Field Trips
* This is organised and provided by the conference.
October 15th： The guide will arrange for a bus to pick up our group at the entrance gate of the hotel and then drive (30 min) to the tourist center which is nearby the hotel and just at the foot of the mountain. The guide will purchase the entrance tickets and bus tickets for tourists. Tourists will be driven in the bus up to the Station of Huitai Cable Car. On the way, a recently constructed large Buddha statue (99 m tall) is visible. It takes 10 mins for the cable car to the Huatai scenic area (mountain peaks; See pictures below), the most beautiful area and spectacular geology of the Jiuhua Mountain. (Around 3h in total)
After that, take the cable car down from the mountain peaks and then we have Lunch together. After lunch we take the bus (5 mins) to Culture Park, where there is a recently constructed large Buddha statue (around 2 h in total) . Then we return to hotel. (around 3h in total)
FOR Accompanions (choose and pay it on-site by oneself on Registration Day with Travel agency):

On the way, a recently constructed large Buddha statue (99 m tall) is visible. It takes 20 mins for the bus trip to the mountain village/streets and scenic area: The first stop will be a visit to the biggest temple---Qi-Yuan Temple. (30 min). We then take the funicular railway car to the Longevity Palace (Bai-Sui-Gong) Temple. We will see the oldest mummy Buddha kept in Longevity Palace (Bai-Sui-Gong) Temple (1.5 h). The name of the mummy is Wuxia monk. We will then take the funicular railway down the mountain to the village streets and walk to The Great Mercy (Da-Bei-Lou) Temples (30 min). Free time will be provided to visit shops, temples, nunneries and other sites of interest along the streets. Then follow the tour guide to take the bus down from the mountain and return to hotel. (Around 3h in total)

Optional Tours & Satellite Workshop
