青阳非金属矿研究院理事长受邀担任《Clay Minerals》刊物首席主编

近日, 青阳非金属矿研究院理事长周春晖(浙江工业大学化学工程学院)收到来自英国和爱尔兰矿物学会(Mineralogical Society of Great Britain & Ireland)主席Prof. Jon Lloyd教授的邀请函,将受邀请担任《Clay Minerals》刊物首席主编(Principal Editor)。
 
据悉,Clay Minerals1947年创刊, 早期刊名为《
Clay Minerals Bulletin》, 1965年起改名为《Clay Minerals》,至2022年已经有75年历史。
 Clay Minerals现由剑桥大学出版社出版; Clay Minerals是该国际学会的重要期刊,是行业内历史最悠久的刊物,刊发过大量重要的有关土矿物科学和技术的新发现、新理论、新技术和新材料等。刊物涵盖的领域和范围:相关土矿物的地质和矿物、地球和星际、健康和环境、表面和界面、固体化学、化学工程、功能材料、技术和应用。该刊是业内经典, 不提倡追求所谓的“热点”领域,而是倡导和特别注重土矿物相关科学和技术的原始性、深入性的科学实验新方法、数据结果和理论认识的研究,重视土矿物基础科学对人类认知自然和开发功能材料的重要意义和推进作用。

据介绍,青阳非金属矿研究院理事长周春晖于2018年起担任该刊副主编, 因其课题组在土矿物、石灰石、白云石等非金属矿物化学、清洁加工和功能材料等研究开发工作、其娴熟流利的英语水平和严谨的工作风格,受到刊物认可和关注。 
周春晖也是“国际
土学会”(AIPEA)常务理事会成员(Councilor),并现任Clays and Clay Minerals (美国)(Springer出版,国际期刊 《土和土矿物》)  副主编 (2016-)、Applied Clay Science (Elsevier期刊,应用土科学)编委、Journal of Porous Materials(Springer期刊,多孔材料学报)编委Materials Research Innovations (Taylor & Francis期刊)编委 、《非金属矿开发与应用》编委会委员等。

土矿物(clay minerals),是组成土岩和土壤的主要矿物,是一些含铝、镁等为主的含水硅酸盐矿物。除海泡石、坡缕石具链层状结构外,其余均具层状结构。颗粒极细,一般小于0.002毫米。加水后多数具有不同程度的可塑性。与石灰石等众多岩石形成密切相关,是表面化学、纳米化学、地球化学、星际化学等研究中很受关注和经常使用的重要的矿物和无机固体,在催化技术、石油开采、涂料、环保、能源、农业、药品、复合材料等众多领域有着广泛的应用。也有科学研究认为,土矿物是最初的生命物质。2012年12月4日已在火星奔波近9年的“机遇”号火星车仍不时有新发现——美国航天局科学家2012年12月4日宣布,“机遇”号发现了火星存在黏土矿物的迹象,并蕴藏着有关火星气候等重要线索。

In this paper a succinct review of the basic principles of Mössbauer spectroscopy is presented, followed by examples of Mössbauer spectra of minerals that are common constituents of clays and soils, and by more complex cases of soils, clays and fired clays.

This review demonstrates that high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) imaging of clay minerals or phyllosilicates with an incident electron beam along the major zone axes parallel to the constituting layers, in which the contrast corresponds to individual cation columns in the images obtained, is indispensable for elucidating the enigmatic structures of these minerals
